How can I book a virtual team-building event?
To book a virtual team-building event, simply navigate to our Virtual Events page, select your preferred event, choose your preferred date and time, and add the number of participants. Double-check everything and make the payment. When the booking is made successfully, a member of our team will confirm your reserved slot via email. If you're uncertain about the event selection, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our dedicated customer service team will be happy to assist you in making the perfect choice.
Do you offer both virtual and in-person events?
Currently, our focus is exclusively on virtual team-building events, conducted primarily through Zoom or other video conferencing tools.
Is there a maximum/minimum number of people for each event?
We have group events that cater to a minimum of 2 participants for non-kitted events and 5 participants for kitted events. Details regarding the minimum and maximum number of participants for each event can be found in the 'I'm interested in this event' box on the respective event pages.
Can I change the number of attendees after making a booking?
If you wish to reduce the number of participants, please reach out to our event planners and discuss this at the time of booking.
Should you need to increase the number of participants after booking, kindly inform us, and we'll make every effort to accommodate your request. For events partnered with third-party vendors, we may need to coordinate with them for additional headcount.
Can I change the date of my event?
You can change the date of your event up to 10 days before the original event date. However, please note that date changes are not applicable for kitted events.
How can I pay for my event?
Payments for events can be conveniently made through credit cards via our secure platform using Stripe. Additionally, we offer bank transfer options, for which you can contact Hooray Teams to make suitable arrangements.
What are the cancellation terms for an event?
We offer the flexibility of free cancellations or date changes up to 10 days prior to the scheduled event, ensuring peace of mind throughout your planning process. Please note that for kitted events, there is no option for cancellation once the kit is shipped.
What are the next steps for booking and how can I confirm my booking?
To book your event, you need to make a payment for your chosen date and time, as well as the number of attendees. You can do that either through our website or directly with one of our event planners. After that, we’ll confirm the availability of our host and send you a meeting invitation with the joining link and any necessary instructions to join.
How many people can be booked per event?
Each event can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 1000 participants, making it perfect for small teams or large groups.
Do you have any brochures that I can show and send to my team?
We may have brochures or shareable materials available depending on the event you're interested in. Feel free to reach out with your needs, and we’ll do our best to provide helpful resources.
Can we customize the event to match our team’s theme or culture?
Absolutely. You can reach out to our event coordinators to customize your events or activities for the workplace to match our team’s theme or culture.
Are there any technical requirements to join the events?
No. You will only need a device with a webcam and microphone connected to a stable internet connection to join the event.
What if someone joins late or drops off during the event?
No problem. Our host will catch up with them and ensure everything is running smoothly. If someone drops off due to tech issues, they can rejoin using the same event link.
Can you help me decide the best event for my team?
Absolutely! Just share a few details with us, such as your team size, their preferences, and the occasion, and we’ll help you pick something that fits best.
How long do your events last?
Our events typically last for 60 minutes. However, we can customize the duration based on the team’s preferences.
What happens if our event gets interrupted due to a tech issue?
We have real-time technical experts and staff available to troubleshoot any technical issues or glitches that may arise during the event.
What if our team uses Microsoft Teams instead of Zoom?
No problem. Our events can also be hosted on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or other compatible video conferencing platforms. Just let us know your platform preference at the time of booking.
Can I see a quick demo of an event before booking?
Yes. We can share short preview videos to give you a feel of how we run our events and what to expect.
Are taxes included in the event price?
Yes, all listed prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
What if we get stuck during the game?
Our host and staff are present in real time to guide you through gameplay, assist you once your break room is assigned, or in other areas of the event.
Can we take a group photo during the event?
Absolutely! Our host is happy to capture a group screenshot at the end of your virtual event. If you’d like, we can even take photos of specific moments during the activities or games. Just let us know your preferences in advance.
Can we get a video recording of the event?
Yes, we can arrange to record the session—just let us know in advance so we can enable recording and share the file after the event.
Boxed or Kitted Events
What are boxed or kitted events?
Boxed or kitted virtual events are interactive experiences where participants receive physical kits tailored to the event in advance. These kits are shipped from our end and include materials for activities like crafting, cooking, or games, adding a hands-on element to virtual gatherings.
What is the process for booking a kitted event?
Once you have chosen an event and completed our booking form, you will be prompted to make a payment. After your payment is processed, you'll receive a booking confirmation. Our logistics team will then collect participant addresses for event kit shipment. We need a minimum of two weeks for preparation.
An event planner will contact you for any questions or customizations. On the event day, join the provided Zoom link, and our hosts will take care of the rest.
What is the lead time needed for a kitted event?
Once your payment is processed, you’ll receive a booking confirmation. We require a minimum of two weeks for preparation from the date of that confirmation.
What is the return policy for a kitted event?
Our return policy for kitted events permits changes or cancellations only before the kit is shipped. Once the kit is on its way, cancellations are no longer possible. Please make any adjustments or cancellations before shipping to avoid any inconvenience.
How many should you book?
It's best to book for the minimum number of attendees you expect. This way, if more people join, it’s easier to adjust the billing for the additional participants.
What if someone doesn’t receive their kit in time?
We’ll track all shipments and notify you of delivery updates. If there’s a delay, we’ll do our best to offer a workaround for you.
Can we customize the kits?
Yes, we offer kit customization tailored to your team’s preferences and event goals. Whether it’s selecting flavors, colors, or materials, or adding themed items, we’ll do our best to match your team’s style.
Do kits come with instructions or support materials?

Can we include a personal message in the kits for each participant?

Do the kits accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes. Our kits can be customized to suit the dietary needs of team members, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and alcohol-free options. If someone on your team has any allergies, let us know, and we’ll do our best to provide a suitable alternative.
Do you offer non-alcoholic alternatives too?
Yes, we offer mocktail options for team members who prefer a non-alcoholic version. Just let us know at the time of booking.
Can we request specific delivery windows for our kits?

How far in advance should we provide dietary information?
We recommend submitting dietary preferences and allergy details at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure there’s enough time to source and deliver customized kits.
What happens if someone forgets to mention an allergy or preference?
If any last-minute information becomes available, please let us know as soon as possible. While we try our best to accommodate late changes, it’s best to submit details early to avoid any issues.
Do participants need to cook during the session or just follow along?
It depends on the experience. Some sessions are hands-on and interactive, while others are more tasting-focused or host-led with minimal prep. We’ll let you know what to expect ahead of time.
